Tips for hanging doors Equipment Tape measure, Electric Drill, Phillips Screwdriver, Pencil, Spirit Level, Clean blanket or towel Carefully unpack the doors and identify which doors go on which units Lay one door at a time on a work surface protected by a blanket or towel This surface must be free of any dust or particles that may scratch the doors Do not allow the doors to lie upon any other doors 1 Carefully place the hinges complete with back plates into the holes 2 Place a spirit level behind the hinges to ensure that they are straight 3 Screw the screws provided into the hinges 4 offer the door and hinges up to the unit in final open position 5 Mark the unit side through the holes in the back plate with a pencil 6 Drill pilot holes only into the marked places 7 Finally place screws through the back plates into the pilot holes and fasten securely in place.
